A landmark restaurant in Norwalk closed its doors after nearly 40 years Wednesday night.
Partner's Cafe on Cove Avenue is a quaint Italian restaurant that many say has been a staple for years.
Owner Debbie Spinola tells News 12 it's time for retirement after her husband, who died eight years ago, opened the restaurant with a partner back in 1983.
She says they opened it as a family-friendly restaurant and to give the community a space to come together and enjoy good food.
Spinola says she's excited that the owners of BJ Ryan’s will be opening up a new restaurant at the location in the next year.
