AAA officials are warning all southwestern CT residents to ready themselves for the busiest travel weekend of the year with careful preparation and a lot of patience.AAA officials estimate nearly 38 million people will travel this holiday weekend. Of the 38 million commuters, 31 million will be on the roads. They are urging drivers to be prepared by checking tire pressure, mapping out their routes and buckling up.Air travelers say delays at the Westchester Airport were surprisingly low, making for some welcome holiday cheer. However, drivers on I-95 North admit the going is slow no matter what the time of day.
