Nearly 500 people have signed a petition to improve conditions at the Stop & Shop in Trumbull.
Cleanliness and maintenance concerns are at the top of their minds, and customers say they want management to address the issues.
Stop & Shop's external communications manager Daniel Wolk issued the following statement:
"At Stop & Shop, we are grateful to be the neighborhood grocer in Trumbull where we have served the community since 1979, and we appreciate members of the local community reaching out to share their feedback. Upon hearing concerns from local residents and community leaders, we took swift action to begin addressing some of the immediate opportunities that were raised. While our Trumbull location is not currently scheduled for a remodel in 2024, we look forward to making continuous improvements to the store so our Trumbull customers can enjoy their shopping experience."
