Three teenage girls were arrested in connection to multiple fights at the Westfield Trumbull mall. Police say a 15-year-old girl was also charged with assaulting an officer after spitting on a trooper.
When officers arrived, they say they found large crowds of juveniles acting disorderly, loud, and disruptive.
Additional officers were called to the mall from other agencies, including state police.
Police say the teenage girls who were arrested are 13, 14, and 15 years old.
All of the teens were charged with breach of peace after refusing to leave the scene of the fight.
The 15-year-old girl was also charged with assault on an officer for spitting on a trooper who was assisting with crowd control.
All three teens were later released to the custody of their guardians with a promise to appear in Bridgeport Juvenile Court on Jan. 24.
