Police: 17-year-old New Rochelle victim identified

A makeshift memorial now stands at the corner of Fourth street and Washington Avenue to remember the teen, identified by his father and police as 17-year-old Julian Oliveros, of New Rochelle.

Investigators are trying to figure out what sparked a shooting in New Rochelle that's left one teen dead and another under arrest.
A makeshift memorial now stands at the corner of Fourth street and Washington Avenue to remember the teen, identified by his father and police as 17-year-old Julian Oliveros, of New Rochelle.
They released a photo of the weapon recovered off the suspect, which they say is a ghost gun.
The suspect faces charges of murder as well as criminal possession in the second degree.
Police have not released the name of the suspect due to his age.
