A Norwalk resident was arrested for allegedly leading a series of illegal street racing events.
Jefferson Duron, 20, was pulled over in Milford. Duran is charged with inciting a riot, reckless endangerment and reckless driving. He was held on $250,000 cash bond.
Police say the "street takeover" events happened over the course of the past few months.
They say mobs of spectators took over roadways, started races, created fires and set off fireworks.
Authorities say videos of these events are often posted on social media.
