Police: 28-year-old man killed in Wilton crash

Police identified the driver as 28-year-old Amir Maalyjah Goodall Reid, who had a Georgia driver's license.

Police say one person was killed in a crash Wednesday night in Wilton.
Police identified the driver as 28-year-old Amir Maalyjah Goodall Reid, who had a Georgia driver's license.
They say Reid hit another car on the Merritt and then drove off. 
Police later spotted the vehicle and tried to stop him but say he sped off and that police did not pursue. 
Authorities say he then crashed into a tree in front of the Four Seasons Racquet Club and died from his injuries. 
Wilton police ask anyone with information on the incident to contact them.
