Three people have been arrested for allegedly running a large-scale drug manufacturing and distribution network.
Police say the suspects were distributing anabolic steroids, human growth hormone and narcotics in Fairfield and the greater Bridgeport area.
Pills, drug paraphernalia and thousands of dollars in cash were seized following a four-month investigation, according to police.
Officials say the suspects were making and selling high-quality steroids using illegally purchased chemicals from overseas.
Authorities believe the three suspects were the heads of the organization.
Police say they are still investigating and that they expect to make at least three more arrests.
