Police: 5-year-old dies after fall at Harwinton home
The girl, who town officials identified as Olivia Videtto, was taken to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center via Lifestar for what originally reported as "suspected serious, but non life-threatening injuries."

A 5-year-old girl from Harwinton has died after she fell from a playscape at her home, state police say.
Police say officers responded to a home around 1:45 p.m. Sunday for a reported fall.
The girl, who town officials identified as Olivia Videtto, was taken to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center via Lifestar for what originally reported as "suspected serious, but non life-threatening injuries."
State police learned early Monday morning that Olivia passed away.
While police continue to investigation, they say nothing criminal has been found.
Town officials say Videtto was a kindergarten student at Harwinton Consolidated School.
"There are no words that can adequately express the sorrow felt by our community. Olivia's loss is being felt deeply by her family, friends, classmates, teachers, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. On behalf of the Town of Harwinton, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Olivia's family during this unimaginable time. We also keep her classmates, school staff, and the entire Region 10 family in our thoughts and prayers as they navigate this profound loss together.
