Police say a Bridgeport man hit two people with his car and fled the scene Friday.
Police say Antonio Rodriguez was accused of stealing from Milford Collision on New Haven Avenue, where he worked.
They say Rodriguez attempted to get into his car when he was confronted. One person stood in the open doorway of his car to argue when another person tried to pull the victim away, according to authorities.
Officers say Rodriguez put his car in reverse and hit both with the open door before hitting them again as he put the car in drive. One of the victims was sent to the hospital with leg injuries.
Rodriguez is facing several charges and was released on a promise to appear.
