A Bridgeport police officer was involved in a crash Saturday night while responding to a 911 call.
Police received a report around 11:45 p.m. that 10 teenagers were fighting on Kossuth Street.
Authorities say three people were detained and officers called for additional help.
While en route, one of the officers was in an accident on Barnum Avenue and East Main Street.
The officer, who was not named, had to be extricated from the vehicle and avoided any major injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the crash was not immediately clear.
