Stamford police say a member of a notorious gang is behind bars charged with helping rob and attack a man with a machete.
Police say Esdras Celada, 25, was one of four men who stripped and slashed the victim with a machete near the Stamford Metro-North station early Halloween morning.
They say the victim told them Celada took his watch, cellphone and wallet, which had about $500 in it.
Police say they believe Celada is a member of a gang called MS-13.
