An undercover police officer shot a 15-year-old Bronx teen after he allegedly pulled out what looked like a handgun Friday, police say.
Authorities say plainclothes officers were taking part in a drug raid on Holland Avenue at around 5 p.m. when they saw Marcus Bonner pull out a black gun on a crowd of teenagers.
Officers chased Bonner down and cornered him. The teen, police say, raised his arms, pretending to surrender, and then reached for his fake weapon, prompting an officer to shoot him once in the face.
Bonnner was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where he is listed in critical condition.
