8h agoTrumbull police say an e-bike rider was seriously injured in a collision Thursday night.
It happened around 6:45 p.m. on Main Street near Whitney Avenue.
Police say the e-bike rider was treated at the scene and then taken to a hospital.
Officers say the vehicle that hit the e-bike was heavily damaged and remained at the scene.
The Trumbull, Fairfield, and Westport Police Department's Crash Reconstruction Unit is currently investigating this incident.
The cause of the accident has not been determined at this time.
