2h agoTorrington police said a man is dead after crashing into a tree on Friday morning.
It happened around 3:50 a.m. on Pothier Road.
Police identified the driver as Peter Jacquette, 72, of Goshen.
Jacquette's Chevrolet pickup truck was found in the embankment with moderate front-end damage from hitting a tree.
Police are still investigating the crash.
