A Harwinton man was arrested for allegedly having photos of child pornography.

Police say William Pirotta had 11 digital pictures of unidentified minors.

Pirotta is a registered sex offender and was on adult probation.

He is charged with possessing child pornography and was released on a $50,000 bond.
