Police say they have made a major break Thursday in the violent incidents that have been plaguing Stamford's West Side.
Police arrested a 17-year-old who they believe is responsible for shooting Ernso Desert on Colahan Street on February 6. Authorities made the bust while on a routine patrol on Spruce Street. They say the teen had a loaded weapon at the time of the arrest.
The teen, whose name has not been released, is facing charges in the shooting and in connection with an assault of a teenage girl on Spruce Street in February. Police are also looking into the possibility that the suspect may be connected with the murder of 19-year-old Flanegaine Joseph.
