Police: Man arrested in Bridgeport in connection to death of infant in Milford
A member of the cleaning staff made the grim discovery in a vacated room, officials said, then called for help.

Dale Kirkland, 31, was arrested on the East Side of Bridgeport Wednesday night in connection to the death of an infant at a Milford motel earlier in the day, Bridgeport police said Wednesday night.
A baby was discovered in a bathtub at the Mayflower Motel on Woodmont Road shortly after 11 a.m., Milford police said in a statement.
A member of the cleaning staff made the grim discovery in a vacated room, officials said, then called for help.
Officers performed CPR on the infant, but the child was declared dead at Yale New Haven Hospital about an hour later, officials said.
Police said there's an active investigation ongoing.
