Police are investigating how a man who was on fire ended up on top of a moving Metro-North train.
The New York City-bound train left the Stamford station just after 5 a.m Sunday.
Officials say they found the 21-year-old Brian McClellen, of Ohio, on top of the train when it lost power and stalled at the Riverside station in Greenwich. Greenwich police say there was some sort of electrical explosion.
Crew members put out the flames with a fire extinguisher.
McClellen was taken to Westchester Medical Center.
Investigators say they don't know yet how McClellen got on the train, but Greenwich police say they believe he jumped onto it.
Metro-North says there were 20 people on the train when it lost power. News 12 is told that the passengers were transferred to another train and no other trains were affected.
