Bridgeport police say the man wanted in connection to the killing of a 23-year-old woman has been taken into custody in Ohio.
Police say 41-year-old Derrick Francis was wanted after the fatal shooting of Brianna McKoy on April 6 in what they called a domestic violence case.
Francis fled after the shooting, which sparked a nationwide manhunt. Authorities say Francis is also facing gun charges in Ohio.
He is pending arraignment and extradition back to Connecticut where he will be charged in the death of McKoy.
McKoy's family says she had a son with Francis.
