Police: Mother, her 2 children in critical condition following domestic violence incident in Bridgeport

Police said a mother and her two children were involved in a “brutal” domestic violence incident on Wednesday in Bridgeport.
The Detective Bureau says all three victims were brutally assaulted and suffered blunt force trauma.
It happened around 10 a.m. on Main Street.
All three victims, ages 6 and 4, and their mother, a 33-year-old woman from Bridgeport, were transported to the hospital and are said to be in critical condition.
The suspect has been identified as Abdulrahim Sulaiman, 38, of Bridgeport, he was arrested and is facing charges.
Police say there is no ongoing threat to the community.

Officials said services are free and confidential.
