Police are investigating an attempted abduction of a teenage girl in Stamford.
Cops say the 14-year-old was approached in a residential neighborhood Wednesday near the intersection of Myrtle Ave and William Street.
According to police, a man in a light blue or turquoise minivan stopped and called to the girl. When she didn't respond, officers say he reached out of the driver?s window to try to pull the girl in. She ran off and called police. The girl gave Stamford police a description of the man. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call 977-4417.
