Greenwich police are probing how details of a recent police investigation involving a teenager were allegedly leaked to the public.
A neighbor of the 16-year-old boy said she received what appeared to be a police report last week. The document implicates the teen as a suspect in the theft of fireworks from a home in May.
The boy's parents told News 12 Connecticut that all charges have been dropped against their son.
Police met Monday about the document, but remained tightlipped. "The department is looking into a complaint of the possibility of a police report being released involving a juvenile," said Lt. Daniel Allen. "It's an internal matter right now and the department has no other comment."
