Stamford police hope a surveillance picture they released Sunday will help them track down the man behind a brazen robbery at a jewelry store.
Police say a man in a wheelchair took a $25,000 Rolex watch from the Sidney Thomas Jewelry Store at the Stamford Town Center Saturday afternoon.
They say he pepper-sprayed an employee and a security guard, got out of the wheelchair, grabbed the watch and ran out of the store.
Police say the suspect is 40 to 50 years old, bald, about six feet tall, weighs about 200 pounds and wore glasses.
