Bridgeport residents were shocked Sunday to find out a husband is charged with murdering his wife, leaving their three children without a mother.Police said they found Lisa Figueroa in a pool of blood at her Wedgewood Place home Saturday. They say she was stabbed to death several times in the torso, neck and face, and that the murder weapon was found lying nearby. Hours later, Bridgeport police say Xavier Figueroa turned himself in to police in Norwalk for his wife's murder. One neighbor said she doesn?t believe Figueroa would do something like that. Another woman, who identified herself as the victim's friend, said she thought the couple was having marital problems. Neighbors said the Figueroa's were staying in Norwalk while trying to sell their home in Bridgeport. Xavier Figueroa is being held on $1.5 million bond. Police said the medical examiner will have the autopsy results by Monday.
