Hamden police say a Southern Connecticut State University student was trying to buy drugs when he was robbed by two men near campus.
Police say the student was in front of an apartment complex early Saturday when he was approached by two men with handguns.
Officers say the two men stole "a large sum of money" from him.
The student was not hurt.
