‘It was torture.’ Former inmate says he was beaten while restrained at Somers facility
yesterdayOne person was wounded after a shooting at Wafu Asian Bistro in the Southport section of Fairfield.
Police say it happened just after midnight Sunday.
They found a large crowd leaving the restaurant, but no victims. Shell casings were found on scene.
Police were later informed that a man who said he was shot in Southport was being treated at Bridgeport Hospital. He had a gunshot wound to the arm and non-life threatening injuries.
The shooting is under investigation.
