Bridgeport police are searching for a suspect in connection to a shooting that occurred Saturday at the BP gas station on Fairfeld Avenue.

They say the shooting took place around 11:30 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene, several parties reported seeing a man dressed in all black firing at another man in the station.

One person was shot as the gunman got into a car and fled the scene, according to authorities.

Police say the victim was taken to St. Vincent’s Medical Center but refused to answer questions about the incident.
