Police: Torrington cyclist struck by car, in critical condition

2h ago Police say a cyclist is hospitalized in critical condition after she were involved in a car accident.
That cyclist has been identified as 47-year-old Shawn Kiefer, of Torrington.
The crash happened just after 9 a.m. on Winsted Road in the area of Machuga Road.
Police say Kiefer was hit by a Nissan Sentra driven by Barbara Dewey of Winsted.
Dewey is currently cooperating with an investigation into the crash, according to police.
