Police: Victim shot in leg in Norwalk; 2 suspects arrested

Norwalk police told News 12 they got several 911 calls from people who heard gunshots at the King Kennedy Homes on Chestnut Street around 6:20 p.m. Friday.

Police say two people are in custody and one person is recovering after being shot in the leg in Norwalk on Friday. 
Norwalk police told News 12 they got several 911 calls from people who heard gunshots at the King Kennedy Homes on Chestnut Street around 6:20 p.m.
The victim was shot twice in the leg and was brought to Norwalk Hospital.
Authorities say two suspects tried to get away in a car, but crashed the car and then tried to run away. They were caught by police.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Takai Robertson, of Bridgeport.
The other suspect is a juvenile and was taken to the Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center.
Both have been charged with interfering with an offcer and several other charges.
