Southbury police say a woman is wanted for assaulting multiple Stop & Shop employees Saturday with a knife.

Authorities say a woman in a blue coat brandished a knife at the store employees during what employees suspected was a shoplifting attempt at the location on Main Street North.

The suspect fled in a white Kia Forte before officers arrived.
