The Community Health Center opened a COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Cove Island Park, a popular place to walk and bike ride on weekends. They offered 300 Johnson & Johnson vaccines to anyone over the age of 18.

The clinic will reopen at 10 a.m. Sunday.
Officials say giving people the option to get the vaccine on the weekend in popular locations will be much more convenient for some.
