Thousands of Co-op City residents were in the dark Tuesday morning after a power outage.
Residents in 10 buildings are without heat, electricity and hot water. Co-op City generates its own power for the 35 buildings in the complex. Co-op City?s management, Riverbay, is responsible for restoring the power.
Co-op City?s power plant was informed of the outage and is working on the problem. There is no word on the cause of the outage. No injuries have been reported.
