Almost two years after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade, hundreds of abortion opponents rallied at the state Capitol this week during the annual Connecticut March for Life.
They were fighting a proposed amendment to the state Constitution that guarantees a woman’s right to have an abortion.
While protesters rallied outside the Capitol, inside lawmakers advanced a controversial bill that could have a big impact on religiously affiliated hospitals.
Gretchen Raffa with Planned Parenthood of Southern New England joined Mark Sudol on this week’s Power & Politics.
