Norwalk officials are asking the public to vote on what they think the new color scheme should be for a redesign project of Yankee Doodle Garage.
The plan includes updating and installing new lighting, cutting the existing ribs to open the first floor, installing cornices on the top and bottom of the garage, highlighting the entrance and exit, painting and staining the interior and exterior, and improving signage and landscaping.
The updated Yankee Doodle Garage was made possible in part by the Norwalk Parking Authority, who created the new and improved design.
Officials have a total of five color schemes for the exterior of the parking garage that they want the public to weigh in on.
Voting closes on Wednesday, Sept. 21.
