The national average for a price of a gallon of regular gas
hit $4.48.
In New York, the average for a gallon of regular sits at
$4.76 a gallon.
On Long Island, the average for a gallon of regular gas is at $4.79. That price is up 24
cents in the last week and 73 cents in the last month.
