Gov. Ned Lamont says the state is expected to receive more COVID-19 testing kits by the end of the month, and they can't come soon enough for communities that can't keep up with the demand for them.
As demand for testing reaches a peak, Redding health officials gave away 600 home kits to residents Monday morning.
Tests ran out in the early afternoon.
News 12's Sean McCabe was at a drive-thru site where people were lined up early to get their chance at a free at-home COVID-19 testing kit.
