The Prospector Theater in Ridgefield recently showed off their "sparkle" on the Kelly Clarkson Show and were surprised with a $25,000 grant.
The nonprofit movie theater, which is celebrating its 10-year anniversary, provides competitive and inclusive employment to people with disabilities.
Approximately 75% of the prospector's staff self-identify with a disability.
Its founder and few lucky staff members sat down with Clarkson and spoke about the theater's mission.
During the appearance, Clarkson informed the group they would be receiving the $25,000 grant from the grocery store chain to help keep their work going.
