Matthew Janik, an associate director of athletic communications at Sacred Heart University, has been arrested, officials say.
Janik, 39, was arrested on Dec. 30 in Bloomfield and is facing several charges, including enticing a minor by computer, attempted commercial sexual abuse of a minor and attempted illegal sexual contact with a victim under 16.
Sacred Heart officials say Janik was immediately suspended pending an investigation.
