5h agoA local college golf coach has received recognition from state officials for his work with the Sacred Heart University program.
Head coach Matt McGreevy helped lead his teams to the Northeast Conference Golf Championships and the NCAA tournament.
He says while he's been "at it since 2007... it's nice to be recognized for the accomplishments that the team has been able to receive."
McGreevy is a Sacred Heart alumnus himself. He says he hopes to continue building on the program's success.
