This week's News 12 Connecticut Scholar Athlete presented by Colonial Toyota is Todd Woodring.
The Wilton High senior helped lead the Warriors to the program's first state championship appearance in 30 years this past fall.
"The Wilton community has been there for me. I played all through the youth program since third grade playing with my friends. I think my friends are the most important part in helping me get better. I can't thank them enough for what they've done," Woodring says.
Woodring recently committed to Marist to play football.
He's also on the basketball and track teams.
