Residents in Darien are preparing for a wet weekend while still cleaning up from the storm on Sunday.
Business owners in the area say when it rains the drains back up, water accumulates, and then runs over the curb and in their front doors. The Darien Department of Public Works says it is preparing for the remnants of Ernesto, but business owners say they are still taking precautions.
First Selectwoman Evonne Klein says the town will have crews on call all weekend in case more flooding occurs. She says the Department of Public Works has been working all week to make sure the storm drains and catch basins are clear.
