Sen. Richard Blumenthal honored some frontline heroes in Stratford on Saturday for their contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Companions & Homemakers is the largest provider of non-medical home-care services in the state.
Sen. Blumenthal says the pandemic "has highlighted the essential nature of the company's services, and the role they play in keeping clients safe in their homes during this crisis."
"Especially during the pandemic, so many of our clients at home have chosen not to go out and their families have chosen not to visit and the only people they have been allowing to come are their caregiver,” says Kelley Green. “Now more than ever, our caregivers are even more dedicated going into their home and making sure their clients are cared for."
