Sen. Richard Blumenthal says plans by the Biden administration to airdrop relief supplies into Gaza is "a matter of life and death for thousands of people."
"The Palestinian humanitarian crisis is on the verge of famine, death, real crisis that requires the kind of drastic action the administration is now contemplating -- parachuting supplies into Gaza, providing more humanitarian assistance and enabling the people who are caught there to survive this humanitarian crisis," Blumenthal explained.
He added that "the drastic measure is an answer to a drastic situation on the ground in Gaza."
