Center Stage Theatre in Shelton welcomed kids in grades 3 through 6 for the first day of camp Monday for a lesson in the music of their parents' generation.
The theme is "Totally 80s!," which will end with a show on July 16.
The highlight of the camp's summer schedule will give older teens a "Taste of Broadway."
"In two weeks, we start our 'Broadway Best' weekly intensive for grades 7 thru 12 in which we are bringing in three Broadway stars or up-and-coming Broadway stars to teach master classes," explained the theater's John Corraro.
The camp operated last summer, but campers had to wear masks and socially distance. The camp is less restrictive of COVID-19 guidelines this summer.
