All Connecticut workers are one step closer to receiving paid sick days.
The Legislature's labor committee advanced an expansion bill Thursday.
The bill will now head to the full Legislature for a vote.
The proposed legislation would require all employers give employees paid sick days, regardless of the number of employees employed.
Only companies with more than 50 employees currently have to offer sick time - and only to service workers such as cashiers, nurses, child care workers and hair stylists.
