? Family members, friends and business owners remembered a Fairfield couple that was shot to death one year ago Thursday during a robbery at their jewelry store.
Investigators say Tim and Kim Donnelly were gunned down by Christopher DiMeo. DiMeo and his girlfriend were on a crime spree to feed their drug addictions.
The victims are fondly remembered as being kind and caring community members. A walkway is now named after them and although their jewelry store is now a clothing store, the new owner closed the business to mark the slaying.
Chris Donnelly plans to attend a vigil this evening with others in honor of his brother and sister-in-law.
DiMeo is currently serving a life sentence in New York for another murder.
