A plane crashed Saturday afternoon in a park in Lime Rock, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The Cessna 1-72 carrying two people onboard crashed in the field around 1:30 p.m.
According to a statement by the Lime Rock Park, the plane experienced a mechanical failure and was forced to make an emergency landing, crashing into the Armco near Turn 6.
The pilot was uninjured.
The passenger suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
Responding crews were able to contain a small fuel leak.
