Soccer fans united at Tigin Irish pub on Bedford Street in Stamford for a viewing of the World Cup final on Sunday.
“We love soccer, we love Messi and we love the World Cup,” said one viewer.
France struggled in the first half of the game, which ultimately ended with a 4-2 Argentina win in penalty kicks. The exciting game had everyone in the pub on the edge of their seats.
“My heart could not stop beating, I couldn’t stop yelling, everyone in this room went crazy,” said a fan.
“It's amazing, the fact that we get to share it with all these people,” said another viewer.
