Some schools in Connecticut are issuing early dismissals today due to the heat.

Some schools in Connecticut are issuing early dismissals today due to the heat.
East Shore Middle School in Milford, along with other middle schools will dismiss at 1 p.m.
Elementary schools will let out at 1 p.m.
Milford's two high schools will dismiss at 12:20 p.m.
There will be no afternoon preschool, and the YMCA, Boys and Girls Club and Ready to Learn after-school programs will close at dismissal.
Students are being asked to wear light, loose-fitting clothing.
Education officials say there will be frequent water breaks throughout the day.
Over in Norwalk, schools with limited air conditioning will dismiss two hours early, including Nathan Hale, West Rocks, Naramake, Rowayton, Tracey, and Wolfpit.
After-school programs and activities at the schools are also canceled.
Today's heat and humidity is expected to be 85 degrees, and a warm trend is expected to continue throughout the week.
